Happy December, my Starlings! You know what that means! It means it’s my birthday month!! And also the start of #pokeddexy and #pokecember! Two month long Pokémon art challenges! And you all know how much I LOVE Pokémon!
So while trying to decide which one I should do, I decided to just go ahead and do both! Go big or go home, right? So I’m going to be doing Pokeddexy with original color Pokémon and Pokecember with shiny Pokémon!
Will I finish?? Is it too much?? Well you’ll just have to check back every day and see!

Hello, my Starlings!
I’m opening up Pokémon Art Card commissions to raise some extra funds for my wedding and for a change of pace between full size commissions.
Here’s how it works! I have a lot of down time in my Day Job and I doodle a lot of Pokémon to help pass the time. I’ve decided to make those sketches available to be completed as marker colored art cards. For $20 each, you can select a sketch and I’ll clean it up, ink and color it with copic markers, as with the example below. You can choose between the original colors or Shiny colors! The physical art card itself will then be available for purchase on my Etsy store!
If you’d like a commission of a Pokémon that isn’t in the folder, this is also available for an additional fee.

Hello and welcome to Toxic Star Studio’s first adventure on Kickstarter!
Let’s start this adventure with a story! A long time ago, in 2009, after rediscovering my love for Astrology, I drew my very first set of Zodiac charms. Featuring myself, my girlfriend, my family and my friends as models, I draw inspiration for each sign from a real person in my life. I printed these charms on cheap shrink plastic which was very brittle and inconsistent, but it was the start of something great!
In 2011, I decided the set needed an update. So I redrew all 12 signs, again drawing inspiration from the people in my life. This time, after several dozen conventions and a few years of running my studio under my belt, I took the leap and upgraded my charms from shrink plastic to white acrylic from Zap! Creatives.
Now in 2016, after over ten years of experience with my studio, I’ve decided it's time to revisit the set once more. And to make this set extra special we're pushing the envelope even further! Acrylic printing has advanced a lot in the past few years, so to make this set extra special, we’re aiming to get our new set printed on color! But not just one colour, but twelve different colours! Yep, that’s right! Each charm will get it’s own colour to correspond with it’s sign’s color!
But to have 12 different designs printed on 12 different colours of acrylic is very expensive. So, to make this a reality, we need your help! This fall we’ll be launching our very first Kickstarter campaign to bring these charms to life! We’ll be posting progress pictures of all the designs as we make them. So, come with us on this adventure and help us make this a reality!
