So.... guess who got two feet of hair cut off last month? This fine badass right here! Oh yeah~ >D
So, it's been, what, 18 months since I submitted my last self-portrait/devID? Yeah, high time for a new one. I've kind of changed my tone, or rather refined it. My colours are now black and neon green, and Toxic Turntable's killjoy symbol has become the symbol for my studio. Oh, and I decided to cut off my hair after having the same style for almost four years. Yeah, it was time.... lol!
But I still wield a 1972 Fender Precision Bass..... lol! And "Invincible" by OK Go has been my theme song since.... 2006? I think. Not quite sure. But I've always loved the energy and attitude that the song has... and I've always believed that I can overcome anything and everything that I choose to take on. Nothing can knock me down for good.... I'm invincible!!
This piece was kind of a struggle. I just couldn't get the inspiration going for it. But once I figured out how to balance the black and green, it started coming together. I don't know if the finishing effects are quite where I want them and I might go back and change them or noodle it some more. Or I might look at in in a few days and think they're perfect. I DUNNO. We'll see. I'm pretty happy over all with it.... lol!
