I'm sorry for the enormous file, but any smaller and I lost too much detail.

Oh my gooooddddd.... I've been working on this since about 2pm today. Stopped for a few hours to hang out with friends, but then went right back to work and never stopped. So I'd say there's about 12 hours poured into this piece from sketch to finish.

My DnD character, Lae'estril. Drow sorceress with her deep dragon, yes dragon, familiar, Nemo. Yeah, my DM is cooler than your DM. Lae'estril herself is a full quarter dragon. Her father, Valeirith was the son of a deep dragon, even though neither of them knew that for a very long time. Valeirith (or Szorinid, as was his drow name) might still be oblivious. DUNNO. Haven't finished the game yet. But now that school is out and all our players are back in town, I can't wait to start up again!

So uhm... yeah. I worked my ASS off on this picture. I don't know if it shows, but I really worked so hard on it. Especially Nemo. I haven't drawn a dragon in.... well since I was like... 12 or something. So drawing a realistic dragon, and a deep dragon no less where there are only three or four official reference pictures was a challenge. I'd like to think I succeeded though.

Deep Dragons need more love. They're such awesome dragons!

Soooo.... yeah. I might post a walkthrough of this in my scraps, if anyone is interested in seeing how I colour.
